Ive been using this app, sense it was launched publicly back in 2014. And in that time, Ive seen it at its best and its worst. And Ive watched it, deviate from what Open Garden originally intended the app to do. As well as what it was intended to be. As its sense been, connected to the grid through email, and text message verification links.

And now displays, your cell phone number if that is used to register. Which leaves people, open and vulnerable to harassing phone calls, from cyber predators. That can then bully you, or séxually harass under age users through phone calls. As well as text messages, and granting them multiple ways to track you on sites like Twitter, Facebook or any site that requires a phone number.

The verification link, prevents off grid services from being accessed, until you enter a code after account creation. As well as upon a cold relog.

As well as, is prone to frequent bugs, that crash the app on a regular bases.
